$3,000 scholarship for M.Div. in Buddhist Chaplaincy

University of the West just received word that our friends at the International Buddhist Education Foundation are offering $3,000 scholarships to qualified students admitted into the M.Div. in Buddhist Chaplaincy training program.

IBEF makes 50 of these scholarships available to students each semester.

DEADLINES APPROACHING: IBEF: Please be aware that the deadline for the IBEF scholarship is July 15!

Also scholarships are available for USAF Chaplain Candidates (see post below) and there is a 10K signup bonus for chaplain candidates admitted into the US Naval Reserve.

Hmmm, interesting. Currently I am a student going for my B.D. in International Relations witha religious minor and a certain veer toward Asian subjects.
Currently I am going in for the Army ROTC they have here at campus and right now the two careers I have in mind is Intelligence and Chaplain.
I wonder....should I transfer to University of the West and earn my BD in Religious studies and practice as a Priest untill I am eligible to be accepted or should I stay where I am and (Try to get) MI but work on getting my BD at the University of the West with my college benefits....
